Tufted coir or coir carpet is nothing but it is a natural blend of coir yarn cut into precise size and planted in rubber milk or in PVC liquid which is later processed / dried for a perfect combination for usage. Our company originally started in the year 1985 for extracting coir fibre and coco peat. Our sister concern namely M/s Kannapiran fibre products in Pollachi, is one of the largest coir and coco peat production of 40 tons capacity per day. This is single largest unit functioning in South India under able leadership of Mr. A K Rathinam. In 2018 this unit branched into the production of tufted coir in large scale. The door mats and carpets made in AKR tufted mats are very sleek, sturdy, long lasting.
